EDITIONS Lars Bohman Editions presents new drypoint engravings by Linn Fernström in conjunction with her opening 30 August. Lars Bohman Gallery is closed during the summer. However, the gallery’s artists are exhibiting all around the world. Here are a few shows to visit: Donald Baechler is curating the summer show I won’t grow up at Cheim & Read, New York (26 June – 29 August). His show Sculptures (Editions) at Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac in Salzburg opens 24 July and runs until 30 August. Ernst Billgren is participating in the exhibition Svenskt samtidsmåleri at EdsviksKonsthall, Sollentuna, 18 June – 7 September. His solo show at Arnstedt & Kullgren, Östra Karup, opens on 10 July and runs until 29 July. Brendan Cass will participate in a group show at Stellan Holm Gallery, his New York gallerist. He is also in the summer show titled I won’t grow up, at Cheim & Read, New York, 26 June - 29 August. Lena Cronqvist will have two solo shows. Stillat Liv (Stilled Life) opens at Saltarvet, Fiskebäckskil, 14 June, and Målningar (Paintings) opens at Vida Museum, Öland, on 26 June. The show runs until 10 August. She will also be represented in three different group shows; Retro at Kalmar Konstmuseum 10 May – 24 August, Svenskt samtidsmåleri at Edsviks Konsthall, Sollentuna, 18 June – 7 September and at Arnstedt & Kullgren, Östra Karup, 10 – 29 July. Linn Fernström participates in the group show at Arnstedt & Kullgren, Östra Karup, 10 – 29 July. Peter Frie will be in two group shows, Retro at Kalmar Konstmuseum, 10 May – 24 August and at Arnstedt & Kullgren, Östra Karup, 10 – 29 July. Jarl Ingvarsson is represented in the group show at Arnstedt & Kullgren, Östra Karup, 10 – 29 July. Maria Miesenberger will have a solo show at Skissernas Museum, Lund. The show includes sketches, models and sculptures from the series Hide & Seek, and it runs between 18 June and 21 September. Miesenberger participates as well in Människor (Humans) at Passagen Linköpings Konsthall 7 June – 8 August. She is also represented at Arnstedt & Kullgren, Östra Karup, 10 – 29 July. Marianna Uutinen participates in the group show Image and After, at Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma, in Helsinki, Finland. The show runs until 22 February 2009. Uutinen is also represented in the show Storyline at Galerie Susan Nielsen in Paris (17 May – 5 July). Works of Hans Wigert will be on display in the summer show, När solen står som högst – sommaren i bild, at Norrköpings Konstmuseum. The show is open 6 June – 13 August. He also participates in Svenskt samtidsmåleri at Edsviks Konsthall, Sollentuna, 18 June – 7 September. Dan Wolgers will be represented in three shows during the summer. Konstnären som valp opens at Bror Hjorts Hus in Uppsala 14 June and runs until 7 September. He is also in Retro, at Kalmar Konstmuseum, 10 May – 24 August, and at Arnstedt & Kullgren, Östra Karup, 10 – 29 July.
